Collection: Fabrics Designed by Jess Scott

Jess designs each range of fabric, using her experiences of the natural world, most often ocean and botanically themed.

She's an old school artist who draws or paints the design on paper, and then digitises it to send it to print. Jess lives and works on Stradbroke Island, where the inspiration for new designs are neverending. She's been creating fabrics and homewares in this way for over 8 years.

By using paper, pen, ink and graphite, her work has a deliberate and beautiful wonkiness to it, which is transferred to the finished printed piece of fabric.

All fabrics in the Starfish Studio range are printed in Australia in an ethical and environmentally sustainable way. Our print system uses water based inks and we only print to order, which means there is no wastage. Our fabrics are sourced from ethically sound suppliers.

We print a minimum of 5m at a time of any colourway, and we have a selection of 5 fabrics available online. If you need another fabric option contact us, as we can print onto vinyl, wallpapers and many more fabrics than we list here.

Each range is only available for a limited time as we like to keep it fresh!
