Product Information + Care
Product Information + Care
Briwok jewellery is designed, made and carefully crafted by hand on Stradbroke Island.
Every piece is nickel-free and hypoallergenic and all materials are exclusive and finely selected with attention to detail.
Wearing Your Jewellery: Treat your jewellery with care and avoid activities that will expose your jewellery to scratches. Remove your jewellery before bed, showering and washing your hands. Remove your jewellery before going in the ocean.
Storing Your jewellery: Store your jewellery in a safe place; remember to keep your jewellery in a dry space, and do not store it in your bathroom as steam and humid conditions can affect it. Many of our pieces are made with real shells and baroque pearls which are delicate in nature. Protect your jewellery by individually storing each piece in the box it is shipped with or soft material to help avoid breakage, scratching or tangling. Always pack your jewellery with care.
Protect Your Jewellery: Protect your jewellery by avoiding extreme temperatures, banging/ dropping on hard surfaces, scratches and harsh chemicals to minimise damage or wear. Care should always be taken when wearing delicate, natural materials.
Briwok chooses their materials carefully in order to be long-lasting and hard-wearing but any plated jewellery will wear out over time. Follow these guidelines to ensure your jewellery maintains it's beauty for years.
Each piece is handcrafted to order and made specifically for you. I do my best to ship all order within two days of purchase.
Briwok offers a 6 month free repair policy. This covers regular wear and tear but please follow our CARE GUIDE to ensure you're giving your new jewellery the love it deserves.
"Your original seaside artwork is stunning - images of local marine life, shells, and flora - making the designs unique and such lovely souvenirs of this part of the world."
Who are we?
Starfish Studio is a little studio on beautiful Stradbroke Island, nestled between Moreton Bay and the Coral Sea. Jess is a visual artist who trained in Fine Art and has been practising her art for 20 years. She has been living on Stradbroke for most of her career and is raising her family there surrounded by the sand, salt and crystal clear waters.
Our designs
She creates her designs on paper with pen and ink or graphite and then has them printed onto a range of gorgeous fabrics for the homewares range. The dramatic and beautiful landscape of the Island is evident as inspiration in her designs, which look fantastic in any home.
Her work is designed and manufactured in Australia – which is good for everyone…Custom orders are always welcome and she can colour match and have your favourite designs printed to order on your choice of fabric.
